Cometa Architects opens 2026 with a defining editorial milestone: the Sarria Apartment is featured on the cover of Arquitectura y Diseño’s January issue, accompanied by a 16-page story documenting the project in exceptional depth.
The feature was captured through a unique editorial production led by photographer Eugeni Pons, whose images reveal the project’s material richness and spatial calm with remarkable precision. Styling by Susana Ocaña brings together architecture, light and objects into a carefully balanced narrative, while the article by David Quesada offers an insightful reading of the project’s relationship to Catalan heritage, Brutalist structure, and contemporary domestic life. The entire editorial was conceived and curated by Isabel Margalejo, director of Arquitectura y Diseño, as a singular, high-profile production.
The photoshoot also brought together an exceptional group of design partners, including Carl Hansen & Søn, whose furniture plays a central role in shaping the atmosphere of the interiors, alongside other leading international brands.
