The Marina Apartment by Cometa Architects has been featured in the pages of Ambientes, one of Mexico’s leading publications dedicated to architecture and interior design. The article, written by Ana Fontalba and photographed by José Hevia, positions the Barcelona penthouse as a case study in spatial reduction and precision — a refined homage to its maritime context near the Olympic Marina. The 56 m² apartment is radically reconfigured around a central wooden core, freeing up the plan and framing sea views through a large opening. Referencing the raw concrete docks nearby, the architects employ light grey microcement, custom copper piping, and floating sculptural volumes like the kitchen island and bathtub.
